as I sit here all alone awaiting for Christmas
(sorrow began to embody me much in vain)
slowly and gently as tears began to subside
(for whatever reasons I could not unfold)
a big screen had appeared before me
(all the actors within were quite busy)
memorizing those lyrics to no avail
(yet a simple act to be performed)
people were joyous in the streets…
(tears were dripping more evidently)
people were laughing, hugging and kissing...
(images of sorrows had confronted me)
'It's gonna be a White Christmas everybody!'
(I was unmoved and untouched)
my thoughts had lingered afar
(to those lands alien to me)
babies were crying helplessly in the ruins of Baghdad
(people here were busy chewing fine roasted turkey)
young ones were slowly dying in masses, Oh... Great Africa!
(people here were busy dancing, drinking, whisky and wine)
beggars were dropping like flies in the chilliness of December
(people here were much amazed by the glittering fireworks)

And in the bliss of war that would never end around the globe
(I would fear for the helpless elderly, women and children)
corpse of dead enemies were slowly rotting
(from beneath their cold dreaded feet)
these very same people whom
were very much in despairs
for the killings of orang-utans
about the same time last year
this year would entirely be theirs
for they have finally seized the day
recipients for the ‘Medal of Honor’
'Kill Humans but save the Animals!'
'For Justice Has Been Done!' voices shattered
(as the gagged world listened in vein)
'In the name of Humanity' it was done
(their fist clinging ever tightly)
'Kill one! Kill all! Leave none!'
(behold these words of wisdom)
they were not to be blamed
(just ardent followers of the talkies)
leave the Talkies...

comes now a person
(only smiles, no words)
hand reaching out, searching...
(no words)
sweeping away those tears
(no words spoken)
embracing that filthy human form
(no words uttered)
caressing that wild unwanted beast
(no words mentioned)
spirit lifted in trust and in faith
(in simple pure silence)
within that splits of a second
thousands of unspoken word exchanged
morale soared when their eyes met
true humans were being born again!
(still… no words)
welcome the Mutes...
